Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Lead Technical Project Manager will focus on leading project teams to delivering strategic projects and implementing results-driven process improvements.

In this role you will:

  • Liaise weekly with the Commercial, Product, Engineering, Customer Success teams to discuss new requests, construct detailed timelines for the delivery and ensure that project objectives are realistic and achievable.Use Lean & Agile methodologies to track progress and provide informed insight into projected completion dates for initiatives.
  • Taking complete ownership of Project Management from briefing through to delivery and project wrap up.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business units.
  • Drive the definition of Project Plans – ensuring agreed plans are in place and milestones are clearly understood by all members of the project team.
  • Actively attend daily team “stand ups” with the project teams to review project statuses and work schedules.
  • Act as the communications focal point around delivery, ensuring detailed knowledge about ongoing projects, team workloads, potential scheduling conflicts and prioritization.
  • Identify, track and mitigate risks and issues identified throughout the delivery of initiatives.
  • Ensure that project scope and progress matches outlined business priorities. Take necessary action to address departures from plan and/or scope and highlight potential overruns in advance.
  • Manage and control risk, act proactively to resolve issues and update the appropriate stakeholders as needed.
  • Implements processes designed to monitor and control scheduling, administration, and reporting, resources, budget, risks and value aligned to the projects business objectives
  • Managing resource allocation to ensure accurate project delivery, including demos and site visits.
  • Manage the expectation of key stakeholders during the project life cycle, ensure they are sensitively, confidently and, where necessary, firmly managed.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and business units to assess project outcomes and improve upon areas of dissatisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers, product owners, business units and subject matter experts.

Required qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of Project Manager experience with gradually increasing responsibilities
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the project management methodologies processes, artifact’s and tools required to meet project/business needs
  • Ability to independently manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and effectively liaise between stakeholders and project teams
  • Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to all stakeholders
  • An ability to quickly identify and drive to the optimal solution when presented with a series of constraints
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects for clients in multiple regions, locations and time zones
  • Knowledge of customer service practices with a technical aptitude and ability to learn software programs
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability to achieve targeted goals and objectives
